Henk Pander worked at JPL in December and January 1987-88 and then again in August 1988. In the winter he did a number of watercolors at the Spacecraft Assembly building of the construction of the Galileo Spacecraft, some of which are owned by the NASA Art Program, and some of which are still in his collection. One is in the collection of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Then in August the artist returned to JPL and made large watercolors of the Solar Thermal Vacuum Test of the Galileo Spacecraft. ...
